We are located in beautiful Pikeville, TN. which is the capital seat of Bledsoe County. Pikeville is located on Hwy 127 between Crossville and Dunlap Tennessee. The city is situated in the northern half of the Sequatchie Valley and the Sequatchie River passes through the Eastern section of Pikeville. In Pikeville, Hwy 127 splits with the main route running along Main Street through the city's business district and Courthouse Square, and a Bypass running through a newer commercial area in the Western part of the city. State Route 30, which connects Pikeville with Spencer and the Fall Creek Falls State Park to the West and Dayton to the East intersects with Hwy 127 in Pikeville.
Pikeville is well known for its proximity to Fall Creek Falls State Park. This is a Tennessee State Park located in both Van Buren and Bledsoe Counties. The huge 26,000 acre park is centered on the Upper Cane Creek Gorge, an area known for its unique geological formations and scenic waterfalls. The Park's namesake is the 256-foot Fall Creek Falls, pictured below. This attraction has the distinction of being the highest free-fall waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Other waterfalls within the park include Piney Falls, Cane Creek Falls and Cane Creek Cascades.
Another attraction to the Pikeville area is that this town participates annually in the famous 127 GARAGE SALE that takes place the first part of August each year. This 127 Garage Sales runs from Alabama to Michigan and you are able to shop at hundreds of vendors and individuals to find that perfect item. This year's sale takes place August 3, 4 and 5th. While we are not currently a fabric store, we do carry a large assortment of
backing fabric that we can offer you to complement your quilt top. We also
stock several brands, colors, and weights of batting.
We are actively searching for a larger commercial studio location where in
addition to long-arm quilting, we can stock more fabric, batting, patterns and
quilting supplies. We are also hoping this venue would provide extra space
for us to provide quilting classes.
